Entry requirements of ATU

We have made a clear and consistent list of the entry requirements when you want to apply to ATU. Keep in mind that there could be additional entry requirements for specific degrees:

Higher Certificate (Level 6) / Ordinary Bachelor Degree (Level 7)

• Grade O6/H7 or higher in 5 leaving certificate subjects
  • Including Mathematics and English or Irish
  • With minimum 160 points

Honours Bachelor Degrees (Level 8)

• Grade O6/H7 or higher in 6 leaving certificate subjects
  • Including Mathematics and English or Irish
  • 2 of these need to be passed in a higher level papers (grade H5 or higher)
